Mountain days and Valley days

Well today was def a "valley" day...Nothing went well or as I expected...When you step out to do something you REALLY open yourself up to a world of Mountains & Valleys. The potential for being offended,hurt,disappointed,rejected..well you name it. This is the tough part right? No longer am I satisfied to be a pew warmer on Sun so I HAVE to go when God says move..therefore you open yourself up to alot of attacks ,drama,stress etc. I am so over that..yuck..So I now declare this HAS to be ALL for you God I will wear blinders or whatever it takes to accomplish this vision you have given me..Today I pray for wisdom and peace and Gods favor...I trust in Him & Him alone...Going to rest in my Fathers arms and believe for everything nessecary to help these Children and my Kenyan Friends. Pray for us ....that ALLWAYS works.

On With It !

Wow where to begin...Why am I "suprised" when a biblical principal works!! You know sowing & reaping...I have recently taken my attention off our trip to Kenya and spent time sowing into another mission friend...I am firmly convinced I have experienced this principal this week! God has opened doors that were ajar and brought new people into the vision of SOHK and our trip ! We have secured our venue for the benefit in April , The suite to house the Bails while in Char came through { and great rate$} The airline tickets for them are booked and paid for etc! This whole experience has opened up amazing doors ...I have seen more of God and His provision than I can count...I am humbled and full of hope ! I have to tell you a good friend of mine has also answered a call to ministry and developed an amazing womens group, we spent a weekend with 20+ other women from all different Churches/ walks of life and discovered we have more in common than the world would have us believe. I tell you about ALL of this to encourage you..has God spoke to you about an opportunity to serve him? Called you to "start" something? Go "somewhere"? DO NOT be afraid!! Step out...DO IT!! You CAN! You can do ALL things through Christ! Don't listen to the how? voice just step out in faith and watch a mighty God move ! God is looking for willing people...be ONE!! In the "process" you will get more of Him than you can imagine...Trust,breathe and MOVE!! xo G
